Time Out says

Not to be outdone by the highly anticipated solar eclipse of 2017, the moon will undergo a total lunar eclipse on Sunday, January 20. Celebrate the rare celestial event at Adler Planetarium's Lunapalooza, where you can cozy up outside and watch the moon pass into the earth's shadow. Want more? Head inside to see the planetarium's new sky show, check out themed activities and treat your little astrologers to a pajama party. The indoor festivities are ticketed, but anyone can show up to observe the lunar eclipse outside of the institution for free.
