Edith Farnsworth House is hosting its second biennial Modernism Road Rally Tour of Homes fundraiser. Launched in 2021 to celebrate the Mid Century Modern architectural legacy of Chicagoland, the tour focuses on exploring the architecture of different community areas. This year, it will home in on the south suburban enclaves of Flossmoor and Olympia Fields. In addition to exterior tours, many of the homes on this year's route will also be open for limited interior tours. Edith Farnsworth House is partnering with the Foundation for the Preservation of Flossmoor History by donating a percent of proceeds towards the restoration of the historic Wagner Building, scheduled to open for Flossmoor’s centennial celebration in 2024.
