National Italian Beef Day

Celebrate National Italian Beef Day with an afternoon of festivities at the Chicago Food Shop inside 875 North Michigan Avenue. Over 500 free sandwiches will be given away by Al’s Beef from 11:30am-2pm; local authors Monica Eng and David Hammond will discuss their book Made in Chicago: Stories Behind 30 Great Hometown Bites; and 77 Flavors of Chicago will present a special “Where’s the Beef” comedy showcase.
