A wonderful cross-section of Chicago converges in Boystown for the Northalsted Halloween Parade each year. From drag queens to kids to pets, this annual Boystown event inspires some of the most stunning costumes in Chicago. When is the Northalsted Halloween Parade?
The Northalsted Halloween Parade is on October 31, 2017. Registration begins at 5pm; the parade kicks off at 7:30pm, with the costume contest following.
Where is the Northalsted Halloween Parade?
The parade runs up Halsted Street from Belmont Avenue to Addison Street; double back to enter the costume contest at Halsted and Roscoe Street.
Can I march in the Northalsted Halloween parade?
Marching in and attending the parade is free, but you’ll have to register here if you want to march or perform in the parade.
