Dinner and a poetry reading, anyone? Swap your usual streaming routine for a singular virtual event hosted by nationally celebrated local institution the Poetry Foundation. The Open Door Series presents exciting works from new and emerging voices, with each event spotlighting two Chicagoland writers plus two of their current or recent students or writing partners.

On Tuesday, May 11, viewers will hear from Xandria Phillips, S. Yarberry and kiki nicole (read more about them here). The free hour-long event is hosted via Zoom, and participants can RSVP in advance to snag a link to join.
