Time Out says

Want to know how Pac-Man became a cultural phenomenon? You'll want to read Pac-Man: Birth Of An Icon, a 350-page tome devoted to the Japanese origins on the hungry yellow mascot and his introduction to audiences in the United States via Chicago-based Midway Games.

Logan Arcade is celebrating the release of this book by hosting authors Tim Lapetino and Arjan Terpstra for an evening of signing and playing Pac-Man games (naturally). The authors will have copies of the book available for purchase, including the collector's edition that comes with a yellow vinyl record containing the novelty song "PAC-MAN Fever."

Attendees will also be able to take in a collection of Pac-Man ephemera, Pac-Man-themed food and drink specials as well as plenty of Pac-Man games that can be played free of charge (save your quarters for all the other games at Logan Arcade).
