Oyster shuckers and beer drinkers unite at this annual Roscoe Village get-together, featuring hundreds of pounds of fresh seafood and an eclectic live music lineup.
The Roscoe Village Oyster Fest is THE lamest street festival ever. They ask you for a $7 "donation" to get in. Once you've paid your donation, you're entitled to visit ONE single stand serving only TWO varieties of oyster for $3 each. I can pay $3 per oyster anywhere in the city, and actually sit and enjoy them. I'll be skipping next year.
