Run for Beer

Need a little incentive to go for a run this weekend? Here's something that might spark inspiration: The folks at Midwest Brewing Company are hosting a 5k race as part of the Illinois Brewery Running Series—and naturally, there's beer waiting at the other end. Runners will set off from the brewery's West Town taphouse in waves to maximize social distancing, following a neighborhood route that eventually lands them back at the brewery's patio for a free craft brew and beer-themed swag. Even better, 10% of all event proceeds go toward supporting local nonprofits Chicago Run and the Chicago Parks Foundation.
