Scarecrow Extravaganza

Boo-Palooza—Wicker Park's annual Halloween celebration and fundraiser—is canceled this year, but you can still get a taste of fall fun this weekend at this socially distanced scarecrow building event. Register online to reserve a 10-foot-by-10-foot workspace, where you'll have an hour to deck out a wooden frame with funky clothes and plenty of straw filling to transform it into a unique scarecrow. You'll have to furnish your own clothing and accessories for your creation, but all building supplies are included with the cost of registration.
