Time Out says

SIX ORGANS OF ADMITTANCE is the primary project of BEN CHASNEY, an electric entity not without precedent. CHASNEY returns to our stage this time performing with a full, electric band featuring bassist Andrew Mitchell and drummer Adam Payne. The SIX ORGANS band last played the Bottle way back in December of 2012, and tonight they're stopping by in support of last year’s excellent full length Hexadic, out via Drag City. Wild and unpredictable, the record oozes thick like oil and sees CHASNEY inventing a new approach to the neck of a guitar. The first single, "Wax Chance", is a ball of furious noise-rock and the rollicking realization of the SIX ORGANS full band experience is evidenced in every molten groove. ELISA AMBROGIO is the guitarist and singer of Hartford, Connecticut noise/art-rock heavyweights MAGIK MARKERS. She takes a more stripped-down approach on her debut solo LP, The Immoralist, out last October on Drag City, crafting heart-wrenching, emotional songs without ever getting melodramatic or overly sentimental. Glossy melodies, throbbing drums and layered vocals float over stark sound-beds, but as Aquarium Drunkard points out, "There's no pixie dust or puppy sounds, no super-sweet sap. It’s refreshing and mildly threatening, and it’s the farther thing from twee: it’s the truth." Opening the show is fairly new Chicago band RLYR, which features members of PELICAN, LOCRIAN and BLOODIEST. With that pedigree you're probably expecting something very loud, that could be described as "doomy" or "sludgy", but you're fucking wrong, dummy. RLYR is an instrumental rock band that takes a far more pop-oriented approach than you'd expect while still peeling that stupid face off your stupid skull.
