The Great Bull Run at Hawthorne Race Course

The great Spanish tradition for maniacs came to Chicago, inviting runners to sign a waiver before hitting a track with 18 bulls

Thrillseekers flocked to Hawthorne Race Course yesterday for the Great Bull Run, which brought the Spanish tradition to a horse racing track in Cicero. Participants signed an extensive waiver before stepping onto a quarter-mile course where they ran with 18 bulls. Entrants donned Bulls jerseys (naturally) and red bandanas before hitting the track and running like hell. We documented the madness from a safe distance.
