You're on a boat! Or at least you can be. We're throwing a yacht party with Anita Dee Yacht Charters where you can catch views of the iconic Chicago skyline while cruising along the gentle Lake Michigan surf—drink in-hand. The event features music by a live DJ and tickets include two drinks. Check-in begins at 6:30pm.

The Time Out Chicago Yacht Parties have been great, even though there’s been some goldilocks weather (first one too cold, second one too hot). The Anita Dee Yacht Charters have been great hosts for the events. Each yacht has three stories with the top of the boat completely exposed to the elements. While many people pile up on the top, the boat’s bow is the best spot for a relaxing and scenic ride. Activities and free drinks were different for both events, cider the first time and then Dark Horse wine. I really loved the Doodlebooth, but wish there were some snacks on board.

What a great way to spend an evening with friends after work! It was a bit cold the day that we embarked on this particular journey but we had such a great time; tickets included a few beverage tickets and drinks included cider and wine - the ciders were really good! Unfortunately, there was no food available for purchase so I got a bit tipsy quickly, but every time I looked out over the edge or out the window I was reminded that it was worth it just to be on the water. The music was awesome and some people were dancing. They had bags set up inside so people were playing games on top of just mingling and enjoying the best part of living in Chicago - being on Lake Michigan! The crowd was all youngins which made everything just feel more festive and fun and carefree. This was totally worth it!

Other than the chilly June weather (darn windy city), we had a fabulous time on the Time Out Yacht Party. I highly recommend this event for people 21+ as there all sorts of demographics. Couples, friend groups, coworkers, all jamming together on the Anita Dee. The boat is a little older but it does the job with its three indoor levels, a rooftop and a patio area on the second floor.  You get DJ action, corn hole on a boat, a free Time Out Mag, beautiful scenery and 3 drinks with your ticket but be mindful they only include drinks from the sponsored beverages. No food is provided so get ready to jaunt off to a food stop after or make sure you eat before. OH and there was a banging raffle where you could win WNBA front row tickets or Pitchfork tickets so some people went away feeling extra lucky.
