A new academy for Middle Eastern dance forms has sprung up near the Magnificent Mile, opened by Zahra Gamal and PURE Chicago dance director Sherihan. Classes are mostly held in the evenings, with a fuller schedule on weekends occasionally including workshops and guest instructors. There's also Zumba and cardio bellydance for those with a little more belly than they'd like.
