A showcase for young designers from Croatia and beyond, Dan D (‘D-Day’) design fair returns to the former military hospital on Vlaška for the second year running. The building’s echoing, minimally decorated spaces have the air of an abandoned school – a suitably atmospheric place in which to enjoy displays by young designers or attend talks by international design experts. This year’s theme is the ‘Design Archive’; a look back at all the key Croatian creatives of the last few decades, with displays based on the exhibition archive of the Croatian Designers’ Society. The courtyard features a coffee bar, wine booths and the odd DJ turntable, with events running until about 11pm
