Matuško Winery

One of the biggest of the many family-owned wineries in the village of Potomje, Matuško is produces one of the biggest ranges of wines – the highest quality reds are from Dingač on the other side of the nearby ridge; while Matuško’s superb-value mid-range wines originate in vineyards slightly inland. Visitors to  the winery get helpful advice on what to purchase and the chance to peek at the cavernous cellars that stretch away below stairs. Here, rows of barrels lead towards a wooden round table overlooked by stone reliefs of knights, used for special parties and VIP tasting sessions.
