Strossmayer Bar

This has been a lot of bars in the past. It is a mystery why none last. The location is wonderful: in the netherworld along the walkway at the top of the funicular, just below Upper Town and above Ilica. The bar itself is tucked under St Catherine's Church and Square. The interior is always festive, low ceilings with disco balls, and hosts occasional music nights. The bar's terrace is substantial and the real treat is the view of all of Lower Town from the landing just outside the gates of the club. Covers on DJ nights run about 20kn.
