Three venues in one, all of them busy, all year round. In the basement, a comfortable, half-trendy, half-rustic restaurant boasts glowing terracotta walls, plenty of artwork and a traditional open fire in winter. The food is typical Istrian fare (no pizzas, despite what the sign says) at very reasonable prices – no wonder artists fill the place. Above, the café and its terrace throng in summer. The Rock Café nightspot occupies the first floor. Look out also for the Spider Café Bar opposite, another good late-hour drinking haunt, with DJs in summer.
