An abandoned park in the centre of Zagreb is about to be drastically transformed. Boundary-breaking art collective Pimp my Pump are teaming up with street art studio Lapo Lapo to turn the run-down urban park, located between Tomić street and Strossmayer promenade in the heart of the city, into a vibrant open air museum.

Naturally, it'll be called Art Park, and it'll host a varied summer programme of art events over the summer months. From June to September, it'll be overrun with all manner of art activity, led by respected local artists such as Lonac, Lunar, Artez, Linnch, Bare, Modul and Džedaj. Workshops, projections, exhibitions, and all kinds of wonderfully creative happenings are on the bill. To get things off to a festive start, a celebratory opening will happen on Sunday June 12, with a gathering in the park from 3-9pm.
