Trash Film Festival

The Trash Film Festival in Varaždin focuses on the low-budget end of the scale. As the TFF itself puts it, ‘we feature exclusively entertaining films that can be put into the categories of action, martial arts, sci-fi or horror. Exaggeration in genre attributes is desirable’. In short, this is a kitsch-glam event in which everyone is expected to dress up and participate, most notably the audience. On the closing night, the Golden Chainsaw is awarded to the best film.
