Diocletian Hotel

Recently opened, the Hotel Diocletian is located in the historical centre of Split, surrounded by the walls of the Diocletian Palace. It's a small boutique hotel, with only 17 rooms - those with balconies really do have an excellent view of the rooftops and harbour. Rooms are decorated to a kitsch 17th-century theme, with murals and faux antique furniture. The hotel has a sauna, jacuzzi and a lounge bar with roof terrace, and private parking, hard to find in central Split.
