This new spa- and sport-oriented four-star near the seafront also contains a casino and convention centre. Pride of place goes to the top-floor health area: heated seawater pool; Finnish sauna; Turkish bath, plus a dozen massage and bath units. Outside, the expansive terrace gives a view of the Kvarner Bay. The Adriatic offers two outdoor tennis courts and can arrange climbing and hikes around National Parks. The 300-room complex comprises two hotel buildings; guests in the cheaper Adriatic II three-star are also allowed access to the spa and swimming pool.
