Hotel Palazzo

Once the Riviera, this reconstructed four-star hotel comprising nineteenth-century core and modern annexes, re-opened in 2009. Right on the water off the main seaside promenade, the Palazzo now contains 70 rooms and four apartments. Bedrooms have high ceilings, big beds, wood floors and tasteful dark wooden furniture. The spa (Turkish and Finnish saunas) and pool are major attractions. There’s a restaurant, excursion booking and yacht rental – the back of the hotel opens onto a marina.
