San Rocco: Hotel

For lodging, you’d be hard pressed to do better: the four-star San Rocco has won the Best Small Hotel in Croatia award four years running. Twelve beautifully furnished rooms are ranged around two pools, a wine shop, a wine cellar, a spa centre (with massage treatments) and a stand-out restaurant. Rooms are manor-style rustic with exposed wooden ceiling beams and spacious floor plans. Some have sea views, others a vista of picturesque Brtonigla.
