Wellness Hotel Aurora

Renovated in 2008 and upgraded to a four star, this modern, luxury resort hotel stretches across a wooded headland overlooking Sunčana uvula or 'Sunny Bay', one of the main beach areas of the Čikat Peninsula just west of Mali Lošinj town. There's a large and well-appointed Laurus wellness centre featuring indoor pools fed with seawater, a range of saunas, Turkish baths and Roman baths, an indoor massage area and an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy massages with a sea view. The oils and skin-care products are made in Laurus's own laboratories using Lošinj-gathered plants and herbs. There's a profusion of tennis courts and sports grounds in the woods behind the hotel. As well as the choice of shingle and rock-slab beaches immediately below the hotel, there's a terraced outdoor-pool complex (including kids' paddling area) to one side.
