Trnje: the Space and the People

The Zagreb City Museum has been running the Zagreb Neighbourhood Project since 2009, documenting the many faces of the city over the course of urbanisation. Now the museum presents the neighbourhood Trnje, as it's swallowed by the inexhaustible flow of urban growth, engulfed from the fringes into the city's modern fabric. Told through photography and the memories of local residents, this exhibition is a great opportunity to see Zagreb beyond the grandeur of its historical centre.
