Croatia Airlines launches winter route between Zürich and Pula

Istria is now opening up to visitors from the financial capital of Switzerland, Zürich, during the winter season

Opening up Pula and the whole region of Istria to visitors flying in from the Swiss financial capital of Zürich, Croatia Airlines has just announced twice weekly flights between the two cities from November 2 to January 14.

Scheduled for attractive afternoon times on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the new service will allow visitors from the Alpine region to enjoy some winter sun by the Adriatic, admire historic Roman sights, and sample award-winning wines and olive oils. Seasonal delights will also be available at the traditional markets of Pula, Poreč, Rovinj and other destinations along the coast and interior.

Furthermore, Advent in Istria attracts visitors of all ages with fabulous lighting decorations, the scent of mulled wine and fritule (sweet pastries), and with live performances and concerts taking place on the streets and squares to enrich the magical holiday atmosphere.

Flight time is only one hour and 30 minutes, setting off at 2.45pm from Zürich and 5pm from Pula.
