Top Croatian chef David Skoko from the Konoba Batelina in nearby Banjole joins an elite line-up of Michelin-starred kitchen masters to create the gala dinner for the MAXI ON regatta in Pula.

This annual event signals the opening of the tourist season in Istria’s main city. Nine chefs, including Bobo Cerea of the three Michelin-starred Da Vittorio restaurant near Bergamo, will be creating spectacular dishes for the 200-plus sailors and their guests at the Grand Hotel Brioni.

The event runs from 4 to 9 May.
