This year’s series of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board’s Winter Saturday Mornings in the City begins tomorrow, November 4 and runs until March 30.

Every Saturday, visitors can take a free, themed sightseeing tour of the city in English, starting at 9.30am, followed by a performance by local folklore ensemble Linđo at 11.30am (weather permitting).

Tours in November revolve around the theme of Cosmopolitan Dubrovnik, covering the prominence and development of major European religions and their historical impact on the city. Later themes include Dubrovnik Carols in December and In the Footsteps of Love in Ancient Times, with more details available on the tourist board’s Facebook page. Tours begin at the Tourist Information Office by Pile Gate, and the performances are held in front of St Blaise Church in the Old City.

Due to the limited number of available spots, visitors must book their place for the free tours by emailing tic.pile@tzdubrovnik.hr or by calling +385 20 312 011. Bookings must be made no later than 5pm on the preceding Friday.
