Known more today as being the setting for hedonistic music festivals, the island of Pag is great for active breaks, too. On Saturday, May 4, the Island Pag Trail involves a family-friendly day surrounded by beautiful nature.

Located in picturesque Kolan, this outdoor race not only provides an opportunity to mix with other enthusiasts but also tackle breathtaking trails. Participants will pass through Kolanjsko polje, the ornithological reserve Kolanjsko blato, all the way to Svetog Vid, the highest point on the island of Pag. This offers an unforgettable view of all sides of the island, the mountain range of Velebit, as well as the islands of Maun, Silba and Lošinj.

Competitors can choose between the Blue (11km) and Green (24km) courses, and the children’s race, Mini Emily (1.8km). At refreshment stations, runners will be able to take a break sampling local products and well-earned drinks.

Those who register by April 15 receive a souvenir T-shirt and medal.
