Adapted annually to take in the most beautiful landscapes across the peninsula, the Istria300 cycle race is unique in that it allows riders to switch to the shorter Istria235 and Istria155 options while they’re on the road.

The event starts at 7am this Saturday, October 7, and continues into the afternoon or early evening. The race sets off and finishes in the lively coastal city of Poreč, where merchandise stalls and the registration tent will be set up from Thursday morning, October 5. This is also where the riders’ party takes place from 7pm on Saturday.

A ladies’ event and 300-metre course for children are also scheduled. While registration for the adult event has closed, cycle fans can watch participants zoom past all across the peninsula, as far as Labin, taking in Pazin en route. The route is outlined here. Car traffic will be diverted, see here for details.
