Taking over from former flagship Alitalia, the new national airline for Italy, ITA Airways, has announced that it will be introducing weekly flights from Rome to Split and Dubrovnik to this summer’s schedule.

The routes will be served by Airbus A319 and A320 planes, capable of carrying between 144 and 180 passengers. Tickets for the two routes are already on sale.

This further positive news for Croatia’s tourism industry comes hot on the heels of British Airways announcing the return of its Zagreb route from Heathrow, and Vueling reintroducing its service to Split and Dubrovnik from Barcelona.
