Set at the pretty lakeside location of Bundek park, Zagreb’s Pop Up Summer Garden has just kicked off with free films, gourmet burgers and DJs. The party goes on every day until 3 July, from 5pm to midnight on weekdays, 10am to midnight at weekends.
First held at Tuškanac, the Pop Up Summer Garden moved to the more intimate setting of Bundek on the south bank of the Sava in 2021.
Kids can look forward to art workshops, face-painting and other creative activities, with pop-up installations organised by the Museum of Illusions. Summer flavours are provided by top cocktail mixologists, the TRS winery and original burger merchants TAIKA BY SHERPA.
Entertainment comes in the form of local DJs, unplugged bands of all stripes and alfresco film screenings. Admission is free but visitors are advised to bring blankets and cushions for later on.
