Visitors came in record numbers for Zagreb’s Festival of Lights that transformed Croatia’s capital over the course of the last five days. Beaming projections onto the city’s most historic buildings, multimedia artists worked their magic at around 30 sites in the Lower and Upper Towns.

Of the many highlights, two stand out in particular.
