Rovinj and Zagreb have topped TripAdvisor’s top 10 ‘Destinations on the Rise’. According to data collected from their site, Rovinj is a top trending travel spot, eighth in the world rankings for up and coming places to visit. Zagreb gets sixth place in the European league but doesn’t make it onto the worldwide list.
For this publicity generating poll - really, they could put wherever they like on the list and we’d give it a cursory google - TripAdvisor used its vast database of information generated from the actual city breaks you booked, the reviews you left, and the hours you spent scrolling through bucket list destinations. So it’s legit.
