Unveiled in March, the new road over the Cetina river near Omiš in Dalmatia is now fully operational.

This weekend, PIXSELL cameraman Zvonimir Barisin headed out at night to snap the crossing and the illuminated bypass it connects, cutting down journey times to and from Split.

Bookended by two tunnels, Omiš and Komorjak, the bridge is 223.45 metres long and is suspended at 70 metres above the water. It represents yet another feat of engineering integral to the transport infrastructure of Dalmatia – further south, Pelješac Bridge was unveiled in July 2022.
