Premium Slovenian magazine DRIVE&style has dedicated a major feature to the boutique hotels of Istria, amid its regular coverage of luxury cars, top design and high-end fashion.
Under the heading Istria: Progress with Respect for Tradition, the current edition of the Ljubljana-based publication assigns 22 pages to boutique hotels in Istria. Familiar favourites include the Heritage San Rocco in Brtonigla, the Meneghetti Wine Hotel & Winery near Bale and the Boutique Hotel Valsabbion near Pula.
Also featured are the San Canzian Village & Hotel near Buje, the Roxanich Wine & Heritage Hotel in Motovun and the San Servolo Resort, also in Buje. Upcoming prestigious destinations include the Palazzo Rainis Hotel & Spa in Novigrad, the completely renovated Hotel Grand Brioni in Pula and the Petram Resort & Residences in Savudrija, which should be opening their doors in 2022.
