Located 4km (2.5 miles) behind Vis town on the old road to Komiža, just above the expanse of flat farmland that dominates the centre of the island, Golub is a super little place to enjoy lamb, fish, squid, beef and home-grown vegetables. They also serve their own olive oil, liqueurs and wine. The restaurant is every bit as simple and rustic as the village, which supports a population of 35.
