Near the Minčeta department store by the Gruž harbour waterfront, the Primorka offers the best of local, home cooking at less than half the price of places you'll find in the Old Town. If there are no tables free on the garden terrace, the ones in the atmospheric vaulted rustic interior are equally pleasant. On offer are a daily 30kn marenda brunch, and dishes such as beef tongue in caper sauce, and pork and beans. The minced lamb in cabbage leaves, sarma, is also a favourite.
