You’ll be lucky to grab a table here, at the harbour end of Groda – but the interior is homely enough, with a fireplace and modern art on display. The grilled fish, though pricy, is awfully good. Regulars swear by it, phoning owner Nikša Barišić ahead of time during the day to see what’s fresh for them later on. Fishermen come every day to let Nikša plan his menu. But don’t be frightened to go on a limb and try the Big Mama steak: stuffed with cheese, ham and olives.
