It’s a simple idea that seems to have been done to death, but this central Zagreb baked-potato spot has successfully upped the ante by treating the accompanying toppings as a serious culinary venture rather than an exercise in mere catering. The sauces (freshly made every day) are likely to include favourites like chili con carne alongside chicken stroganoff and Armenian stews. The soup menu aims similarly high, with the likes of Borsch, Mulligatawny and Georgian Harcho cropping up frequently on the chalked-up list of daily specials.
