Without a doubt, Dingač is the most famous vineyard in Croatia, stamped on Croatia’s most famous label, created from Plavac mali grapes. These vineyards are set on slopes at an incline of 45 degrees. At the bottom is the small fishermen’s village of Borak and a restaurant owned by the Matuško winery. The dishes here are simple, from pizza to fish and meat from the grill, but the view from the terrace is extraordinary. Before you is the island of Korčula surrounded by a crystal-clear sea – behind you, the vineyard that provided the wine you hold in your hand.
