Time Out says

The back road from Šibenik to Split reveals a number of fine restaurants. Arguably the best, packed with locals, is Torcida about 12km outside Šibenik (click on ‘kako do nas’ on the website). The speciality is meat roasted on the spit – suckling pig or local lamb – but you can also get excellent peka slow-cooked chicken or octopus, and grilled meats. Excellent, mellow house red and pancakes or cakes round off the meal nicely. The vast terrace overlooks rolling fields. All very good value with plenty of ambience and easy parking but it’s not for those in a hurry.
