Dalmatia 1,000 Kilometres

After the success last year of one of the most important vintage car rallies in Europe, Grenzland, more of the same comes to Dalmatia this September. Hosted by the Split Old Timers’ Club, the International Old Timers Rally brings fine examples of pre-war production onto the roads. Some real museum pieces and lovingly renovated classics will be parked on the Riva before departing on a 1,000-km route to Kotor Bay in Montenegro and back, via Hvar, Korčula and Dubrovnik. It’s a real treat to admire these old Aston Martins, Rolls-Royces, and Bugattis, and if you’re driving that day, be a little patient.
