Many of this year's events during Dubrovnik Winter Festival are welcoming to younger guests and, in addition, there are two special events included within the programme with those people specifically in mind. The now traditional Cake Party takes place on Saturday 8th December 8th, with all money from cake sales going to charity. There will be plenty of options to choose from and cakes to see. The event takes place around Orlando's Column and on Luža square and will have an accompanying music and entertainment program.
The main event of the children's programme will be the Christmas Fairytale, which will be held on December 16th. During the event, which includes a music programme, around 1,500 children's presents will be distributed, reinforcing in the minds of the young visitors the idea that Christmas is a season for giving.
