Ego Free Festival

The takeaway message of this festival is ‘leave your ego at the door.’ Back for its third instalment, Ego Free is a family-friendly hippy fest suitable for kids, dogs – even your granny. Over three spring days, the park is sprinkled with people on picnic blankets while hammocks swing in the trees. The guiding musical theme is ‘70s – expect lashings of disco, funk and soul. Workshop-wise, you can perfect the downward facing dog, learn how to juggle properly or get your face painted like a butterfly – and keep the kids busy in the children’s games area. Proceeds go to Split's Leukaemia and Lymphoma Association to raise money for a stem cell transplant centre. See their page for more details.
