Park Zrinjevac Festival

One of Zagreb’s prettiest parks, Zrinjevac, hosts child-like fun throughout July. In the evenings, as the midsummer heat abates, all manner of entertainment gets underway on its central stage: if you wander down on a Monday or Wednesday you’ll hear Jazz, Soul, Rock and Pop concerts from the likes of Ivana Marić and Soul Shadows; on Tuesdays you can listen to a literary talk; each Thursday, stand-up comics such as Gorana Vugrinca Goca and Vlatka Štamparav take to the mic; and Fridays close the week with masterful DJs like Ozren Kanceljak. Sunny daytime events include morning yoga and meditation classes, and Saturdays will see surprise gigs from as-yet-unannounced artists.
