Picnics at Maksimir

Maksimir is the mother of all parks in Zagreb. Every Saturday throughout summer, its vast lawns play host to public picnics - and everyone's invited. But there's more to these events than jam sandwiches and bee stings: yoga, games, music, and even an open-air library ensure both children and adults are kept entertained on sunny Saturdays.
