Whether you've been converted while on holiday or you're an avid fan making note of the winners at international wine conventions, the secret of Croatia's excellent wines is out of the bag. At VINOcom, you can sample hundreds of local wines, from the dark, powerful reds of southern Dalmatia, to the sharp Grasevinas and Sauvignon Blancs of Slavonia to the pristine Malvasias of Istria. Alongside sparkling wines and other varieties, they will all be presented alongside tasty delicacies of dried ham, cheeses, bread and olive oil. Local experts will be on hand to guide you through varietals and great vintages pulled from dusty wine cellars and you'll be able to meet many of the winemakers themselves, with over 300 domestic and international makers attending the convention.
