Digital Content Editor

Time Out Croatia is looking for a talented digital editor with multi-platform experience to oversee the magazine's digital content and social and video strategy. You must also have a demonstrable passion for, and understanding of, Croatia.

Your duties will include:

- Commissioning, editing and developing digital content

The editor will need to create quality digital content to attract new traffic from socials and search engines. The editor will liaise with the deputy editor to create content, using website analytics to pinpoint successful traffic-driving themes. The editor will also look at Time Out internationally for content planning and best practice.

- Creating a robust SEO content strategy

The editor will need to identify keyword opportunities and manage the production of SEO features. 

- Keep a vast body of content updated and refreshed

The editor will need to manage the update of SEO pages and closely observe traffic trends, identifying changes in ranking for high performing pages.

- Strategically grow audience, value and engagement across multiple channels (social channels; video) and sites

The editor will be expected to grow audience across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube, identifying opportunities for cross-platform campaigns and greater interactivity between the channels.

- Manage an editorial team

The digital editor will effectively manage a team and will be in charge of digital production schedules.

- Own social analytics including insights into what’s trending, regular reporting resulting in actionable insights

Working with the editorial team, the editor needs to devise a plan to increase Time Out’s reader base across all platforms through deep analysis of data reporting available, and market trends.

- Take charge of commercial content and build relationships with clients

The editor will take charge of commercial digital content, devising creative solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience of targeting content for SEO.
• The ability to work creatively and efficiently under pressure.
• Experience of managing social media platforms.
• To be bursting with a wealth of ideas that can be used across all Time Out platforms.
