Paisley soul-pop superstar Paolo Nutini is the latest act to be announced for the large scale Summer Sessions gig series to take place in Bellahouston Park this August. The singer-songwriter, whose 'clever, funky and polished' third album 'Caustic Love' was released in April last year, will play the park on Saturday August 29, one day before fellow Summer Sessionist Calvin Harris headlines his own gig.
We should note at this point that the Summer Sessions gigs at Bellahouston Park should not be confused with the Summer Nights series at Kelvingrove Bandstand, which feature Glasvegas, Ben Folds and Echo & the Bunnymen among its headliners, though conveniently for music lovers, the gigs have been scheduled so as not to clash.
Tickets for the Nutini gig will be on sale from 9am on Saturday March 28, with various presale options kicking in 24 hours earlier.
